As a course is because during the time that I was doing my psychotherapy and counseling, I was training under a mentor who suggested that I would be a good fit in palliative care. These courses, they were tailored very beautifully, and I realized that the depth that each topic has gone into is really nice.
I came across Texas School of Mental Health, and I was genuinely very happy. So the course was very meticulously structured, I must say that. When we look at it, for a moment, it might look like, okay, this is a typical college syllabus, but it isn't. Anybody from the institute who would be on that call and you could ask your doubts.
After enrolling in the course, I found that it was a mix of live lectures and recorded lectures. After each recorded lecture, we had a certain quiz which helped us understand the concepts better. And for each lecture, we also have follow-up lectures by the experts, which are live lectures wherein we get a hands-on practice on the concepts that we have studied.
What I like about light courses, recorded courses, that quiz assessment, that cognitive coffee with Meghna Madam, that section, I really like it. All the faculty has now brought their passion, unique expertise on that table. The very complex concept, just like onco, genetics, and all that, they were broken down into understandable chunks. That helped me a lot to grasp the subject.
