Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end admissions counseling, lead conversion, and program explanation.
  • Handle student queries through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
  • Provide program guidance based on student background and career goals.
  • Maintain and update CRM/leads data with proper follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for admissions processing and onboarding.
  • Support post-admission engagement and student orientation.
  • Assist in webinars, campaigns, and outreach activities.
  • Achieve admission and conversion targets with ethical counseling practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Healthcare, Education, Sales or related field.
  • Psychology / Mental Health / Allied Health Sciences background preferred.
Experience
  • 3-5 years in academic counseling, admissions, or student engagement.
  • Education sector / Ed-tech / Healthcare program experience preferred.
  • Prior lead handling and conversion experience preferred.
Skills Required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to counsel and influence decisions
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and digital platforms

Job Summary

Texas School of Mental Health is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Outreach Executive to promote academic programs, build institutional collaborations, and generate admissions through strategic outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field visits to colleges, universities, hospitals, NGOs, and healthcare organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with institutions and stakeholders.
  • Promote TSMH courses through presentations, meetings, webinars, and awareness activities.
  • Generate admissions leads and convert institutional connections into opportunities.
  • Coordinate institutional tie-ups, MoUs, outreach campaigns, and awareness programs.
  • Follow up with prospective students, institutions, and partners.
  • Maintain records of visits, leads, partnerships, and outreach reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams for promotional campaigns.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in institutional visits and generating business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel extensively for field visits and outreach activities.
  • Strong understanding of educational marketing, admissions, and institutional collaborations.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in academic outreach, admissions counseling, educational marketing, or healthcare education preferred.
  • Experience handling collaborations with educational or healthcare institutions will be an added advantage.

About TSMH & Rising India Research Foundation

Rising India Research Foundation is a Section 8 nonprofit founded in 2014, committed to empowering women and promoting mental health in India. RIRF along with TSMH offers courses like Post Graduate Diploma in Psycho-Oncology and partners with the National Commission for Women through initiatives such as MenoMind.

Role Overview

The intern will assist the team with student coordination tasks and telecalling activities under supervision and training. This role is ideal for individuals seeking practical experience in educational administration, student engagement, and communication within a mental health education setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telecalling to prospective and current students for admission inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with students regarding schedules, payment installments, and support services.
  • Maintain student records and update databases for admissions and enrollments.
  • Support academic and administrative teams in daily operational tasks.
  • Organize virtual and physical meetings, workshops, and orientation sessions.
  • Receive training on communication skills, CRM software, and administrative protocols.
  • Receive training in Storyboarding and course development tools.
  • Assist with research for course development.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related fields.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with basic computer knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
  • Previous telecalling or customer interaction experience is a plus.
