We had the privilege of participating in the APPON 7 Conference, organized in Chennai on the 17th and 18th of January 2025. The conference provided us with an opportunity to reconnect with Dr. Wendy Lam, President of the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS), and a distinguished expert in psycho-oncology. A key moment of the event was presenting Dr. Wendy with the book Six Phases of Psycho-Oncology, authored by our founder, Dr. Girish Lad. This influential work showcases groundbreaking insights and practical approaches, highlighting Dr. Lad’s dedication to holistic cancer care.

Our participation was led by Dr. Tahreen and Alafiya Vora from the Texas School of Mental Health. Their engagement, alongside other thought leaders, enriched the discussions and reinforced our commitment to advancing psycho-oncology globally. We look forward to participating in more opportunities and engaging in meaningful conversations with impactful leaders like Dr Wendy Lam in future.
